A year of Hylox and a new dietary regimen, and she was down to her ideal weight of about 30 pounds, running and prancing like a champ. We thinks it's been a great dietary supplement for both dogs.

My 10 year old shih-tzu seemed to be limping less when she was taking this, so I guess it was working. However, the smell is very strong and after a few weeks, she refused to eat them. She'd just spit it out and then the slimy dissolving chocolate like chunk was useless.

I bought these in place of a more expensive brand. The ingredient list/amount is the same.My older dog limps from joint pain. Since taking these he no longer limps and is much more active.I will definitely order again.

Our Vet/friend recommended these to us to help give our lab the nutrition she needed for her joints. Apparently she was born with hip problems which is rare for a lab but she loves to run and jump and we notices she moved like an older dog even she was young. Since our friend recommended special joint food and these she has been a happier dog. Now she is 8 yrs old and runs and jumps without the stiffness afterwards. We will continue to keep supplement her diet with these as she is part of the family.

My senior does okay with this product...BUT I find Phycox works better. I know they have almost identical ingredients but the 'Phycox'.

I ordered two boxes and they were both dried out with no stinky smell as usual. My dog still eats them but I wonder about their effectiveness as they appear to be old. I may return to the more expensive Phylox.

My mixed terrier Maggi had been limping very bad and we started using Hylox once a day, and after about less than a week she stopped limping and seemed to be much improved. I still give it to her and at this price, I can afford to keep on! thanks

My big chocolate lab is only five years old, but has shown signs of joint discomfort. My vet recommended Hylox soft chews and gave me some samples. They worked so good, ordered the large 120 count size. I love them and my dog loves them.....

About three years ago I had to visit a different Vet with my 10 Y/O Australian Shepherd with arthritis. She would wimper when she would stand up and walk. I thought this was the end or at least there would be endless pain meds. we were given some pain meds but also asked to try this stuff. After 2 to 3 weeks we stopped the pain meds. Today she is literally bouncing around with apparent joy. She hops over the door threshold to go outside. She is now 13 and deaf but still happy enough to bounce. Once a day with her meal. good stuff

I've tried several types of joint supplements. This seems to assist them with mobility. We've had them on supplements of this type for many years; they are 10 & 7, female & male. Our female Lab had hip surgery @ 4 for a bone deterioration, therefore, she has been on supplements for many years. At that time, I started our male Lab on them (he was 1-1/2). Seeing other older large dogs, I feel this absolutely assists them.

I have a 12 year old Lab/chow mix with major arthritis in his back legs and this stuff has helped emminsly . Our vet originally suggested Phycox, which was way overpriced at the vet, and we found this works just as well and is a little cheaper...especially on Amazon

This is very palatable by my boxer. He loves them, and my vet said they are a highly recommended product! They have an offensive smell to humans, but dogs live them.

We started my elderly husky on another brand named product and when we found the Hylox had virtually the same ingredients we switched. It was literally half the price of the other brand. Of course I read the reviews and was not sure if it would work the same, but after trying it now for several months my dog has shown an improvement in his mobility.We live on a third floor apartment and can definitely tell the difference that this product has made in him getting up and down the stairs.Although there may not be that much of a difference between this and the other more expensive brand, why would you pay double for the same results.My dog loves this and we can also hide one of his other medications in the soft chew.I highly recommend this product it has made it much easier for my dog to get around.

Hylox does just as well for our 12 year old Beagle as the twice as expensive Phycox.This is a great product...

I have a twelve year old dog who is very arthritic. I have used Hylox for the past year twice a day for my Mz. Lizzie and I do see a marked difference in her comfort level. This is an easy to administer product as it seems like a treat to my Mz Lizzie. I highly recommend this product.

This product has made a huge difference to my pets. They think it tastes great and they gobble it right up. The soft chews are great especially with older dogs that might have dental issues. This product is so much easier than trying to get them to swallow a pill. This is a product I definitely recommend to buy.

I researched this product after being advised to try it by my vet. After many hit and misses I found it on Amazon which had it for the best price and free shipping. My Lab/Dalmation is 14 yrs. old and couldn't get up the two steps into the house. We had to use a sling to help him. After a week or two on the Hylox he was able to handle the steps without help. He is now down to just two chews a day for maintenance.

Since I have old dogs (16 &12), I give these to them every day. They like them, and they are doing well!

Customers can compare the main ingredient (glucosamine) to verify product similarity, 450 vs 400 per chew.Finally, hylox is currently less expensive; an added benefit.We cannot discern any advantage between the effectiveness of either chew due to the advanced degradation of our pet's hip joints; genetic flaw. been ordering these beefy flavored chewy bites for my 11 year old dg at least 3 or 4 times, he loves the taste and both he and my 3 year old dog love to think of them as special treats. They have seemed to cut down on his joint pain quite a bit. They are cheaper than what I could get at my vets.

Purchased these soft chews for our 10 year old Golden Retriever. She had been having trouble standing up from a lying down postion. After only a week of taking these chews, she had very little trouble with this movement. Our Golden also greatly enjoyed the taste of these chews. I highly recommend this product for aging, arthritic dogs.

I began using the product after being given a free sample by my vet. My 13 yr old Lab/Dalmation has had hip problems since he blew out both rear legs at about age 7. Was operated on but he still had hip pain. After taking HYLOX for about a week he was able to navigate stairs, chase squirls, and jump into the car for rides. My mother found this on amazon as a means to help my airedale terrior mix dog who is 11 years old. He suffers from Hip Dysplagia and arthritis. He cannot take Glucosomine as he reacts differently to it. He takes Rimadyl and they also prescribed the "Phylox" but that made his bowel movement super loose. In return we have been using the "Hylox" and it suits us all much better. It helps my dog with his joints and us. I would definitely recommend it as a must!!!

My older boarder collie doesn't know to take it easy. I'd tried pain meds but worried about side effects like liver damage. One Hylox "treat" once a day and she's gotten a couple years younger. She's still a bit slow in the morning but no struggling to get up and no limp. She zips around after the stock like a teenager. I try to restrick how many times she jumps in and out of the truck bed but when I'm not looking she does it and keeps up with our other dogs. I haven't noticed any bad side effects at all.

Hylox is a great Product, I noticed a big change in my dog after just a week. Delivery could be quicker but I am very satisfied with the service and product. Highly recommend this product for older dogs with joint issues.

My dog will not eat these. I had to purchase some soft dog food and mix it inorder to get these in her. Haven't seen any change yet in her hip. She is 15 + years old and overweight. Hoping to see some difference in the next week or two. If I see any improvement I will post again.

After two 120 piece containers of this item, with no other changes to the dogs diet, he now drinks more than he ever has, which of course means he needs to pee more than he ever has. Not seeing a change with how well he got around, I will not be buying this again.
