Cat aches and pains
July 3, 2015
This product does work as much as anyone can tell with a cat. She is complaining less and moves easier. First product she likes the taste of. Have used it for more than a year now.

Another holistic promise gone unfulfilled. Natures answers to natural pain relief gets you very little in the way of results. Same stuff they sell for humans and it doesn't help them (me) either.

IT'S OKAY, BUT..........
May 1, 2015
My cat won't eat the food when I put it on the food, so I have been putting it directly into his mouth. He takes it this way but if it was a little thicker it wouldn't be so messy to give it to him this way. Also, the smell is very strong.

JointMAX
April 26, 2015
I've been giving my cat this for 2 weeks now and I have not seen any improvement so far, however the vet said I should give it at least 6 weeks to see if there is an improvement. My cat is a fussy eater so we don't put it on his food. The vet said it would be fine to just give it to him straight, so I give him his dose before he eats.

I cat refuses to take it. If I put it in food he refuses to eat it. If I try to give it to him directly he, well lets just say he reacts badly. So I've no idea if it helps or not. He won't take it.

Easier than crushing up pills, cats LOVE it ... and it works GREAT
November 26, 2014
I've been using this product for about two years now ... love it!I have three old cats. TWO of them have had arthritis all their lives ... which I didn't realize until a few years ago when one cat had some x-rays done. BUT even as youngsters, the two sister cats always had "hot spots" on their hindquarters ... they would snap and bite at you if you touched them there. I never knew why until one of them had an x-ray and the vet pointed out that she had pretty bad arthritis in her hips.I started using dasuquin tables with my vet's advice, but crushing up tablets is difficult and the cats would eat around it if they could. So I switched to this product about two years ago. Now, at 15 years old, those hot sports are gone ... this is great stuff. You simply squirt this into their food. They like it (WOOHOO). When you FIRST treat your cat (or you) for arthritis, you use a DOUBLE dose for a week or two (instructions are on the lable, READ it). Then you can use a small amount each day and this bottle lasts me a LONG time for THREE cats ... so it is very cost-effective. I've been using this product for about two years now ... love it!Basically, these products are anti-inflammatory, so they also might be helpful for other aches and pains as your pet ages. My elderly cats are in GREAT health and I think Joint Max helps a lot.

One of my cats is nearly sixteen years old. I've been using this on him for the past four months and while I can't say it has definitively helped him, it certainly hasn't hurt, either. I take glucosamine myself because I think it helps and if it's good enough for me it's good enough for him.

This stuff IS truly fantastic for my 22 year old boy, without a doubt, It works wonders. However, you can get it elsewhere for almost HALF this price (entirelypets dot com). WAY too expensive here at Amazon unfortunately. 5 Stars for a great product, but not so much for the price.

Amazing Product for my 19 year old
October 12, 2013
Works great on my 19 year old cat. Very easy to administer as well. You will surely see a difference in about a week. It doesn't ease all the discomfort but will make it easier for your pet to get around. Highly recommended!

Joint MAX really works
July 29, 2013
I have a three year old grey longhaired and he is my "indoor Squirrel". I noticed for the last couple of months he was not as playfull with my other cats and after giving him regular doses for a month and now everyother day or so I've noticed a huge difference in his behavior. He is back to his old self running all through the house and not resting his hips after strenous play. I am pleased that I can give directly or in his food and even have another year old tabby eating it straight from a bowl. i would recommend trying if you notice an issue. The sooner the better.

Don't bother.
June 9, 2013
This product did absolutely nothing for my cats. After 3-4 weeks they turned their noses up at it.I was administering the product in their water and wet cat food.Regardless of the amount I had put in their water bowl,I found them repeatedly drinking from the toilet.I closed the toilet lid and would catch them licking the sink faucets.Their wet food was left untouched. I had even taken their dry food away to motivate themto eat the laced wet food.I could no longer risk my fabulous mature felines becoming emaciated and dehydrated. In conclusion, there was no noticeable physicalimprovement in either one of my cats as the product had promised.I didn't expect the "elixir of the Gods" but I did expect to see a slight ease in their walking. The product did state it would ease joint pain and stiffness. My cats, as well as myself are very disappointed. The manufacturer of Joint Max most likely felt nothing.

Works like Magic!
May 27, 2013
First of all, I like the fact that it is a liquid. This makes it so easy to mix into my cat's food! The flavor must be delicious, because she loves her food when I sprinkle the product on top of it. Isabelle, my 17 year old cat, really benefits from "Joint Max"!! Thank you!

Seems to help, maybe too soon to tell
May 19, 2013
I think this product is helping my senior cat. Can't say with certainty, because I started giving it to him on his wet food around the time he was emerging from his usual hibernation period, earlier this spring. And he is naturally more active then. He doesn't seem to object to it, and this is a big plus. It means I can continue to use it with clearer results, hopefully. I do have high hopes.

Good solution for cats who who won't take pills
March 24, 2013
Our sweet older cat refused any arthritis suppplement treats/chewables and wet food, which made it hard to mix in pills/crushables and have her eat reliably. We simply squirt this on top of her dry food and know she is getting the dose she needs. We did start with a smaller dose than called for so she would not immediately balk at it. Three weeks later, she is not limping when she first wakes. Seems to have been the perfect solution. Eyedropper provided did not hold suction, so we did have to find another.

Harley The Maine Coon LOVES this stuff.
February 5, 2013
I purchased this Joint Max Liquid thinking I would slip it into all of the cats bowls and thereby treat the one cat that really needs it. Harley is a big maine coon and he has some substantial issues with his front legs. We normally give him glycoflex II treats for cats and he will almost take off a finger for those so I decided to try to give him the Joint Max right out of the dropper. He not only stands there and drinks it off the dropper he comes and stands by the sink 2 times a day to let us know its time. I have only been using it now for about 10 days so I can't say for sure if it is making a big difference. I will update later after a few weeks. The one thing I can say is he loves the stuff!

Fixed up my broken cat really good
January 30, 2013
I inherited a really big and clumsy cat when I got married. Recently, he's fallen off stuff and hurt himself, my wife took him to the cat doctor and xrays showed lots of arthritis in his hips. I've been giving him this stuff for a few months, not even every day, and he's jumping and running like I would imagine that a new cat does. Funny thing is, the cat thinks its a treat and comes running whenever I shake the bottle. Great product.

It Works...
November 6, 2012
I bought this for my 6 yr old maine coon who had hip surgery a while back. He originally broke his hip. The surgery was successful, but he seemed to be getting stiff lately, showing signs of arthritis. I had been giving him glucosamine chews but it didn't seem to be helping. He was limping and lying down a lot. Within a week of giving him this product he was running and playing with my other cats. I give it to him orally with a syringe and it doesn't seem to taste bad. I think it is more concentrated than other glucosamine forms. I highly recommend this product and am forever grateful that it has helped my baby.

manx mobility
October 26, 2012
I rescued an adult female manx. During cold or rainy conditions she had trouble walking and fell down the steps one day. Since her back legs are longer than her front a dear friend reccomended joint max. After two weeks on joint max I caught her jumping up on the window sill ( she has never done that in the year that I have had her.) She is also running around faster and more agile. I think it is due to the joint max since the weather is no longer affecting her back legs. thank you joint max!!!

Works! Finicky eater got used to it.
October 23, 2012
My cat started limping in January 2012. He was sleeping all the time too. I presume due to chronic pain. In September I decided to use a glucosamine supplement. He got used to it in his food after about a week and a half. He did not like it at first - but he's super finicky. After 3 to 4 weeks, he was running around again, not sleeping all the time, and his limp was better. He also has a mal-formed jaw, and this has helped that condition also - he shakes his head far less. Noticeable improvement. I really like this supplement. The chewable tablets are great and palatable for dogs. Have not had luck with the soft chews for either cats or dogs - they don't like them. The liquid for cats and the chewable tablets for dogs are great. Recommend.

So happy to have found this!
September 6, 2012
About 10 years ago I adopted a gloriously lovely 22lb cat from my local shelter. She was somewhere in the range of 3-6 years old at the time. Now her weight is down to a pretty steady 14.5-15 lb range and she's on R/D dry food for maintainence at the least, and more loss at the best. But she is an older girl who can run down a hallway like a bulldozer if she sees a treat near her dish, but has definite tightness and sensitively around her hind legs and cannot always get herself on the couch. The vet prescribed cosequin, but even my little vacuum wouldn't eat the dry pellets when just poured over her dry food. She needed two capsules and I used nearly a full can of squeezed liquid from a tuna can to try to dilute the pills but it still wasnt enough liquid. I love my girl, but I'm not emptying a can of tuna fish every night for her. Finding this liquid was just a god send! Now when our other cat is getting her own syringe followed by an anti-hairball treat, this girl gets a little under a tablespoon of the R/D dry food and 2.5oz poured over it. The food doesn't fully absorb the liquid but she still licks the dish clean once she's started. She gets this nightly or every other night at least. She's been taking it on this schedule for about 2 months now and she's visibly doing so much better. She's shown more energy in interacting with her housemate and can more often than not get herself up onto the couch in a single jump, without grabbing and pulling or needing me to lift her up. She also just got a clean bill of health from the vet so we're continuing the treatment as is. I've just been so so happy to find this product and would recommend it to anyone who has a cat on dry food only who needs but won't eat the cosequin on it.

Joint MAX Liquid for Cats (8 oz) is a very effective supplement!
September 4, 2012
We used to have to give our soon to be 17 year old Tabby a prescription medication for her joint problems but this takes care of her for approx. 2/3rd the cost for 5-6 months of the $30/month the prescription meds used to. Worth every penny to see our beloved Christy get around as well as she does with! This one bottle has lasted 6 months as of today, 9 Feb. 2013!

easy to use
January 11, 2012
I inherited 2 older cats (12) and one of them had some issues. When i picked her she would howl and did not run around much. I started giving them the jointmax which is easy to use (except remember to put in in the fridge after opening) and they are much more active. And they like the taste I just put it in their wet food and they clean the plate. This was much easier than opening a capsule and sprinkling it over the food.

my baby girl is now 18...Thank You God! Love that's it a liquid and not a pill ....makes her life easier and mine. I just put on her dry food, not her canned food, and she eats at will. She is ONLY a fish eater but accepts this easily....surprising! You MUST give it time and you will see results. Look for promo offers on net to save.

A Liquid Miracle!!!
August 28, 2011
I have an elderly cat that is practically impossible to medicate. I have tried MANY other joint supplements and as soon as I crush up the pills or open the capsules and put them into her wet food, she would refuse to eat it. This liquid medication is much easier to administer and she gobbles up her food like she usually does. I had her on this supplement for about 2 months when she surprised me by jumping up next to me on my couch. She hasn't done that in the past 2 years. This one 8 oz bottle lasted me just under 3 months.
