Saved me so much money.

I am so happy to have found this product at EntirelyPets. My vet was charging me 3 times as much for the same product. That savings really adds up since my dog has to take it daily for the rest of her life.

Pills are too big

Let me start by saying we have used K-Plus granules for years and they are great sprinkled over the dogs' food. That product has kept our poodle mix out of surgery for bladder stones.However, we have two dogs, one of which is now allergic to the granules (they eat each others food). So we tried the pills.These pills are HUGE. Both our dogs are under 20 lbs.Plus, the dog would not take the pill, even if we cut up. So we wrapped the quartered pills in Velveeta (a favorite of our fussy dogs), but no go. She just doesn't like them.I am sure, if you could get your dog to take them, the pills would be effective. But we can't. So thumbs down for this formulation.Wish you had a concentrate in a gel form that we could easily conceal in a piece of cheese!

We started my 6 month old female labradore on this due to her having to have a bladder stone the size of my thumbtip removed at three months. The vet suggested a special diet food. After one month we switched back to our original because I hadn't heard any compelling argument of success with the extremely expensive food. Also, my puppy's urinalysis had not changed at all. My husband titles Labradors and the high carbohydrate low protein ratio of the prescription expensive food was less than ideal for building muscle. Also, I know someone who's dog (different breed) had to have a SECOND bladder stone removal surgery after being on the special dog food for 6 months. After a month of adding in the Potassium Citrate, our puppy's urinalysis improved. Specifically the pH, which I was told is a big culprit in stone formation. We are continuing with the potassium citrate and are adjusting her amount up as she is growing in size so much now. We will do another urinaysis is two more months. So far so good. My vet says it's because of the potassium citrate. So glad I researched options!

My little Bella an 8 lb.Shitzu had shown crystallization in her urine. This is what the vet put her on. She has been on this since I rescued her at 2 yrs.old she is now 13 and has never had urinary issues. Plus she loves the flavor.

My dog has a terrible history of UTIs. We have been using this product for years and not only does she eat her food because of the added powder taste, but we have not had any instances of urinary tract infections since starting her on this diet.

Does the job. Good product

I bought this brand because it was cheaper and the SAME thing as another brand on amazon. My dog is prone to UTIs and I wanted to switch her from the expensive and gross prescription diet. The vet told me to be safe and avoid UTIs and costly vet visits, I needed to supplement her food with Potassium Citrate. So, I ordered the other brand (I believe its the same company but different name in different parts of the US) and when it ran out, I bought this. I don't even use 3 scoops a day. Some of the granules will naturally slide to the bottom of the food bowl if you use dry food. I just try to lightly stir or use a bit of broth to mix in with the food so most of it gets eaten up. Good product. Very happy. So far no UTIs!

This form of the supplement has two distinct advantages over the pill form: my dog eats it readily and it is much less expensive.I'm always impressed how quickly m orders arrive from Amazon.com. The free shipping on orders over $25 is also a plus for me and for Amazon.com. I often fill out the order by ordering more to meet the minimum.

I bought this for my Bishon who had calcium oxalate stones removed. Despite puttting him on the vet diet, he continues to have issues. I started him on this to prevent recurrence and it has worked really well. He loves the taste. I add it to his food with a cup of water twice a day. He has not had any recurrence in a year now. We have an appointment coming up so they can do x-rays to confirm no stones are forming but I am expecting good things. I also add Vitamine B6 to his diet to help with the same thing. This is the best priced item available in packs of 3.

Potassium Citrate Granules

My miniature Aussie has Addison's Disease and I have to feed her these granules daily. My Vet doesn't seem to want to keep it in stock for me, so I order it online to make sure I have enough. We travel a lot, so I order at least 2 at a time. It has been working well for me.

I use this per my dog's vet's recommendation. The prices, either individually or in "packs" are THE best on the Internet!
