Seems to work OK

My 14.5 year old kitty has irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and he does seem to eat better and throw up less when I give this to him. He gets numerous small portions of wet food throughout the day, and I sprinkle a little powder on each serving. I can't say it has cured him, but his IBS is a little better.

This is a great substitute for Purina FortaFlora. My cats seemed to really like it in their food. I like IRS cheaper than FortaFlora but wish it was a bit cheaper.

I should have listened to the reviews. My cat Tally ate it the first day and won't go near her food with this sprinkled on top after the first day. Even when served fresh daily she turned away. Tally is 17 years old.

It may be too soon, but since I started giving my cats Proflora last week, they have not been throwing up hairballs as frequently as they were. I suspect that it has calmed their stomachs.

Proflora

Out cat is an older cat and he started throwing up a lot. Like two or three times a day. We switched his food to a sensitive stomach brand and it helped for a little while they he started throwing up again. The Vet said he had IBS, or irritable bowel syndrome. My daughter is a nurse and she suggested we try a probiotic. We tried the proflora and in about two weeks we started seeing a significant difference. Now we have him on it every day and he is doing well.

It works very well with my indoor cats. Keeps them regular. I have used it for several years now, and I am very satisfied with Proflora. The cats like it too.

Our cat has IBS and was throwing up constantly. After a week on Proflora we noticed a remarkable improvement. We are now 22 days into this product and all the throwing up has stopped.

Not to be confused with FortiFlora!
December 11, 2015
I have always purchased FortiFlora for some of my picky eaters; I sprinkle it on their raw food and they gobble it up. The problem is it's pretty pricey. When I saw the Proflora, at a much better price than the FortiFlora, I thought I'd give it a try. Guess what? You get what you pay for! My cats won't touch it!!! Back to FortiFlora I go. =^-^=

I usally buy purina fonta flora and I had a coupon for this so I tried it. My Khloe has I.B.S.,and I don't think that the pro flora works as well as purina,at least not for Khloe. I try not to change things with her when they work,so it may work for a less sensitive cat.

Not worth the savings?
September 24, 2015
I decided to try this product (Proflora) instead of the Forteflora I had been using with my cats. It was a little cheaper so I thought I'd give it a shot. I don't know if it works or not because my cats won't touch anything I mix this with. Could be the greatest product on the market but they won't eat it. So back to Fortiflora for me and my cats.

Effective and a good value
July 24, 2015
Proflora Probiotic for cats works well to control diarrhea and general gastrointestinal issues that our many cats sometimes experience. The product is more economical to purchase than Fortiflora, for example, yet appears to be just as effective.

Really Has Helped
May 29, 2015
I bought this product for one of my cats that has had loose stools for all of her life, so far. She does like the taste of the Proflora and it has helped to firm up her stools a bit- not to where they should be, but more than they were. I will continue to give her the Proflora as it is helping.

Solved 1/2 of problem
March 27, 2015
My Maine Coon cat suffers from very loose bowels - and the stench from the litter box would drive you out of the house. While this probiotic did not solve the loose bowels, it did reduce the smell to a tolerable level. I have tried other probiotics with little success until I tried Proflora. The only drawback is I have to double the dose - presumbably because he is a plus-size kitty.

This helped with loose stools my cats had issues with. They liked the product, and it is less expensive than other products.
