I returned this product because after more extensive research I discovered that cranberry was not well tolerated/metabolized by cats, so its unfair of me to give a low rating when I didn't properly use the product. I intend to re order plain D-Mannose in powder form, which I think would be more appropriate for my fur baby who has occasional UTI's.

I had my doubts about whether my cats would like the taste
February 10, 2017
I bought this product for my 2 elderly cats after reading the positive reviews online. It works exactly as described. I had my doubts about whether my cats would like the taste...I lost my doubts when I gave it to them for the first time. They devour it like it's a cat treat!

Better than antibiotics from a vet for us anyway
January 7, 2017
When I bought this last year I was running out of options. My eldest cat who was six nearing seven at the time had a severe urinary tract infection which was confirmed by a vet. The vet put her on some nasty antibiotics. She improved some but after going off the antibiotics quickly grew worse rapidly. In this case the vet was not particularly helpful and the antibiotics were highly expensive and fairly useless since the infection did not go away but grew worse with a vengeance after the end of the course of antibiotics. In desperation I bought these after looking at various over the counter options and trying different things and she at them readily as if they were a treat (note: I also pushed extra and frequent water with her using a syringe and would encourage her to go to the bathroom and watched her carefully). The combination of extra water plus these tabs really did the trick. She cleared up and I continued giving these to her until we used them up. If ever she gets that bad again I will likely re-order or possibly just re-order sometime in the future and give to her just as a preventative. I do recommend that when dealing with UTIs in cats or anyone push the water and try to encourage urination. It is vitally important as the water helps to flush out the infection. It might be painful but it is important. A supplement like these in addition also aids in the process of making the urinary tract inhospitable to the bacteria causing the infection.

Worked great to help my old dog's bladder infections!
January 5, 2017
My dog who is a 15 year old German Shepherd-Chow mix has been getting repeated bladder infections in the past few years. For the first few times we did rounds of antibiotics. Antibiotics seemed to temporarily resolve the issue but it would return months later. This caused some discomfort as well as incontinence for my old girl.I changed Veterinarians after a move and she recommended I try this product. We first did a course of antibiotics with my dog and then maintained bladder health with the Cranberry. We have been giving this to my dog for quite some time now and incontinence and repeated infections have ceased. Definitely worth seeing my old dog happy and healthy in her later years.

They Just Made The Infection Worst.
January 3, 2017
I am very disappointed with this product. Before buying it I read and investigated if it could actually help in such a good way as the other reviews said it would. In the end, after 3 weeks of giving my two cats half a tablet each day, they developed a UTI condition worst that they had before, one of them even had to be left in intensive care for three days. I showed our vet the tablets and she told me to stop administrating them because they may have accelerated or worsened the infection.

My blockage prone male cat loves these & hasn't had a blockage since starting them.
December 23, 2016
My cat has had 2 episodes of kidney blockage that required 2 weeks of hospitalized cathetarization (I call him the $4,000 cat). Vet said he was so bad he has gone thru 2 of his 9 lives. Since then, in addition to feeding only prescription food, I have added 1/2 of these pills to his diet. He is not an interactive cat, but he LOVES these. All I have to say is "treat" & he is there! Or if I walk into the kitchen he sits by the cabinet "hinting" if he hasn't gotten his daily dose. He knows he only gets 1 a day, so he's not a beggar. I don't have data to know if this is big reason for his last 2 years w/o another blockage, but since he loves them so much & he's been healthy, I wouldn't dare let my supply run out.

UTI treatment for Boston Terrier
December 9, 2016
Have a Boston Terrier 3yrs old about 17lbs. She would get bladder infections about every 4 months and went to vet for prescription meds. Bought this and and she has been UTI free for about 1 1/2 yrs now. I feed 1/2 dose in the morning and 1/2 in afternoon/evening. I don't think this dosage schedule matters, but this is the routine that is working right now.

It works
October 21, 2016
This product works for my dog. She has had bladder problems since she was 8 weeks old, including multiple UTIs that resulted in emergency vet visits. After the last round of antibotics, we began to give this to her once a day for a couple of weeks, and then only when she began to show symptoms of irritation (licking, urinating frequently, incontinence, swelling at the opening). It has been a year and a half and we have not had to take her to the vet for a UTI. Her symptoms clear up within a day, at most two. She passed her last check up with flying colors and her vet told us to keep doing what we are doing.

September 24, 2016
This product appears to be working quite well for my dog (5yr old yellow lab). She has chronic stones and UTI's (for the past year), which makes it very hard for her to hold her urine throughout the day, which is very frustrating and disheartening when we can't afford to have someone come to our home every day to let her out. Vet bills are outrageous with antibiotics which are not preventing resurgence of UTI's and stones. I researched other methods, coming across many testimonials about using cranberry supplements for their pets, but the cranberry w/D-Mannose tended to be far more successful. With this product, I can see a huge difference, along with managing her water intake by putting ice in her bowl as opposed to liquid. Her urine is also clearing up and it is now very rare that there is blood at the end of her urination, which tells me that it is controlling her stone formation. The fact that she can hold her urine for longer periods of time is telling as well. She has only been on this supplement for about 3 weeks now and I am very satisfied with this outcome. On the downside, she still OCCASIONALLY has an accident, but that is only when we are held up at work or with commuting home longer than planned, which I feel would be the struggle for any dog.

Ok, I guess.
September 5, 2016
This really didn't help my little dog. But maybe I was asking too much. She was a little paralyzed Chihuahua, who required bladder expression to urinate. She started getting increasingly resistant bladder infections, repeatedly. This did help a little, but in the end, I put her down to end her suffering and constant pain.

Cured persistent urinary cystitis in my cat!
July 9, 2016
Prior to using this one of my cats suffered from urinary cystitis. The poor baby would cry in pain and strain to go potty. Often we would see blood in her urine. While a trip to the vet for some antibiotics would take care of the cysts, I wanted to prevent them to begin with! So, we turned to a few OTC supplements to try and help her.We tried this (the most expensive), one by Vet's Best (super cheap and also contains slippery elm - which helps with passing hairballs), and a third one that was a drop (I think it was called UTI Remedy?) that you add to the water dish. She would avoid the water dish with the drop in it, even though it was supposed to be odorless and tasteless. So that was out. She wouldn't touch the Vet's Best supplements. So that was out - luckily the dog loves them! And then there is this pill - she comes running (and I mean a full on sprint!) when we jostle the pill bottle. Highly palatable AND it works! She hasn't had observable difficulties in over 6 months. She is more playful than ever and is super loving. We give 1/2 tablet a day to both of our cats (even though only one really needs it). It is a little challenging to split them - we usually just do so with our hands. When it does crumble, both of our cats scramble to lick up all the "dust." I'll call that a win - I don't want them to change the formula to make it less crumbly if it means my baby doesn't have problems. I don't know what I'd do without this product. If you're getting this for a singular cat, know that it's technically 120 servings (4 months worth) since you split each pill in half - so please use that to put your mind at ease if you're concerned about the price.

For my dog with chronic UTIS
June 15, 2016
I love that they have d-mannose for animals. I am aware of the benefits of it with humans and my 7 year old Labrador has struggled with UTIs for her whole life despite all of our efforts to prevent them. I am trying to keep her away from antibiotics and I hope this works for her. I have been giving her one a day since her last round of antibiotics and we just had to leave a urine sample for check up today with the vet so I am hoping for great news! I will continue to give this to her, hopefully just for maintenance.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT
May 11, 2016
My chihuahua (4 years old) started getting UTIs and would cost me $250 per vet visit (including antibiotics. I didn't need or want the $250 bill or my dog taking antibiotics. With a little research, I found this product and have not had a problem with my dog having UTIs or bladder infections since. She is 10lbs and gets a half tab with food daily. The human version works equally as effective. Why the vets and MDs don't tell their clients about these kinds of products confirms my cynical opinions about the medical profession.

BEST PET BLADDER THERAPY!!
May 2, 2016
My little dachshund was consistently at the vet's for bladder infections, followed by antibiotic therapy. The recurrences were so closely spaced that I finally asked the vet about the possibility of some form of cranberry vitamin for dogs, as I was aware they were available for humans. He said (of course) that they did not carry them but to check at a pet store. Instead, I found it on Amazon and, you guessed it, my sweet little doxie has not had a recurrence since. She has half a pill with breakfast and half a pill with dinner. The pill is apparently tasty as she has never spit one out. This product provides AMAZING RESULTS for any pet suffering from bladder infections. Could not recommend more highly!

Good so far
May 2, 2016
I have no idea whether or not this is actually helping my Sheltie's frequent UTI issues yet, but our vet thought it was worth a try. Our little Sheltie diva likes the taste and chews the tablets up with no problem. They're easy to split with a sharp knife as they're already scored. There have been no negative effects thus far.

Helps keep my dog healthy
March 28, 2016
My dog tends to be prone to UTI infections and crystals in her urine. I chose this supplement after I read a lot of reviews, and I think it's worth the price. So far my dog likes the flavor, and she doesn't seem to be having any urinary issues. The only downside is that a big dog has to take 3 pills a day (so a 60 pill bottle doesn't last long).

seems to help urgency
March 9, 2016
My 2 year old female sheltie seemed to have an piddle issue. She doesn't seem to have a large capacity bladder, and is always needing to go out. We are not sure if this was caused by infections or irritation, because it came up clear at the vets office. I take DMannose for MY bladder issues, so I figured that I'd try it on her. It seems to have helped her constant need and urgency to go out as often. I split the pills in half and she gets one every morning.

It works!
January 25, 2016
I have an older greyhound that used to get bladder and kidney infections quite regularly. Expensive antibiotics and semi-annual urine cultures were routine care for him. I found a discussion about this product on a naturopath vet's blog and I decided to give it a shot. My vet all but rolled her eyes, but I swear this stuff works. It's been over a year now and he has had no bladder infections and the last 3 urine cultures have been clear and "better than we've ever seen". I now give this to one of our cats that has been on a special bladder diet most of her life. My greyhound is ~90 pounds and takes one pill 3x a day. My cat is ~11 pounds and takes 1/2 a pill 1x a day. The greyhound thinks the pills are treats, but the cat requires a little bit of trickery. I give her the pill with a couple of her favorite treats so she will gobble it all down.

Started giving this supplement to my doxie mix after discontinuing her vitamin c and fresh cranberries, this supplement seemed like an all in one. So far seems to be working productively, she also readily takes it with food. Only con is the tabs are somewhat difficult to cut, even using a pill cutter it still damages some of pill

Amazing
December 1, 2015
These work incredibly well. Our poodle sometimes gets crystals in her urine, which is obviously very painful and there is always blood. Fortunately I bought these in advance as she got another one last week. Even after the first half tablet it reduced dramatically. By day 2 it was almost gone and by day 3 totally gone! I highly recommend these.

This vitamin has been a game-changer for my two middle-aged cocker spaniels. Since they started taking this vitamin daily (more than one month ago), they have fewer accidents, my girl has had no UTI's, she has no discharge (used to have it constantly) and her problem with leaking while she sleeps has been drastically reduced. She still has done leakage but I would be willing to bet that it'll improve the longer she's on this vitamin. I've spent a ton of money on antibiotics, medicated wipes, urinalyses, etc. and the vet would always say she has "old lady bladder" and would suggest medicine for the leakage, or surgery for the UTI issue. I am a huge believer in this vitamin, and have already ordered more so I can continue the pups on this regions. I also give them the powdered cranberry supplement in their food every other day.Added bonus, both dogs love the vitamins and think they're treats. Makes keeping them healthy super easy!

November 13, 2015
Kind of tough to review something my dogs eat, but, insofar as I am able, this is a hit. They eat it as greedily as any other snack or treat. I haven't taken the smaller dog in yet for his urinary checkup. But, when I do, I'll come back and update the review. The tablets were all well-formed and were easy to cut in half with a standard kitchen knife. The bottle and lid are standard and the label is informative and well-written.

I was worried when we first got them because they look like medicine. She was hesitant at first because she thought it was medicine and then she finally tried it and realized it tasted good! My dog liked them so much that she ate the entire bottle!!! Thankfully, she's completely fine (85 lb dog) but she loves them, and hopefully they work. We will buy again soon since she ate them all, but we will have to hide somewhere so that she can't eat them all again!Recommend!

Stopped my dog's UTI infections
October 9, 2015
My Cairn Terrier/Maltese mix has a vulva that is tucked and shaped in a way that causes her to get regular UTIs. Or so the vet says. There's a $1500-2000 surgery that can be done to fix this. I read a few forums that recommended Cranberry and DMannose. For 4 months now I've given 1/2 a pill a day of this product to my dog and she's not had another UTI. I'm happy with the product. Seems to work as hoped. The pills are about 3/8" in size and my dog won't eat them without adding them to food. But they do break in half and crumble easily. I smash it with a spoon in her bowl and she eats in with her raw food.

He really like the taste of it
September 20, 2015
My cat had two Urinary Track blockage in two years. I bought this just as an addition, but he crave this. He really like the taste of it, and I think it's really helping out with him peeing. The reason why I bought this was because D-Mannose is suppose to clear the crystals, and both of the time when my 8 year old cat had urinary blockage, it was due to crystal forming in his bladder. And I feed him Blue Buffalo. And I think that's what caused it, because he was perfectly fine for the last 6 years on MAX before I started to feed him Blue Buffalo. The funny thing is that the other cat doesn't seem to have the same problem, so it must be a breed issue. But I think this is doing well. After the last vet hospitalization, he kept peeing OK with this and the prescribed food.I tend to feed this to him forever.

Cranberry DMannose Urinary Tract Support
September 10, 2015
Have not used long enough to evaluate effectiveness for my cat but I am very happy that she will eat the tablet without having to crush it up in her food. Only negative is distributor does not list dosage requirements for cats on the bottle label-instructions for dogs are present-but the product is listed for use for cats and dogs. I think this is something the manufacturer needs to address.

September 3, 2015
My 11 year old golden retriever had started having urinary tract issues so the vet put her on antibiotics but it didn't completely clear it up and they wanted us to come in for more tests. I decided to wait on that and I ordered the Cranberry Support and started giving her the recommended dosage. I am so pleased as she has been back to herself except when I forget to giver her this for several days in a row and then she seems to start feeling down and uncomfortable again. Of course, I don't know if this will always work but I am pleased so far. We've been using it for 4 months now. And my dog loves them as they are like treats to her.

My female schnoodle mix has had 3 UTI's in the past year. Our vet recommended giving her a Cranberry supplement to see if that would help prevent any future UTI's.I am thrilled to say that since beginning them, she has not had a single infection. She gets half a pill a day..They cut easily with a pill cutter and she absolutely loves them. I thought I would have to hide them in peanut butter, but she gobbles it right down. So far, so good.
