Many years ago enzyme based toothpaste was recommended by Inca's Vet. We followed the orders and started using CET. We brushed every night and soon progressed to a power brush for even better results. Inca is now 15 years old and still brushing with CET. Results are obvious each time she goes in for a check up. Professional clinical teeth cleaning is not necessary every year thanks to CET toothpaste.

I have been using the poultry flavor for my 6-yr old basset. It's very easy to brush her teeth with a flavor she likes! I just adopted a 12-yr old basset (w/horrible dental disease), who has never had her teeth brushed. I am starting out putting the CET toothpaste on my finger, then rubbing on her teeth. So far so good, thanks to the consistency & flavor. Trying a toothbrush is next. I hope to save most of her teeth.

I alternate between using Maxi guard and this vanilla flavored enzymatic toothpaste to clean the GSD teeth nightly. This dog is allergic to chicken flavored toothpaste. I clean the dog's teeth nightly. The vet tech who did the awake dental cleaning on the GSD teeth this Thursday that the GSD teeth are great-no need to scale any tartar nor was the Ultrasound used to clean her teeth. Another great product for cleaning dog's teeth! This is the best way to avoid expensive dental cleaning and it is less stressful on the dog. Nightly dental cleaning is a must in order to prevent plaque buildup and gingivitis.

This toothpaste is appealing to the dogs and gets them used to the whole brushing experience everyday. And it gets the teeth clean and free of food, after the day of eating. The price is also very good.

I got a cheaper brand at a local store and my dogs did not care for it. Poultry flavor CET toothpaste is a favorite with them and I get less hassle over brushing. They like the taste. I will stick with CET brand.

I have used a number of different brands of dog toothpaste which are on the market and I find CET enzymatic toothpaste to be the best I have ever used. The dogs love the flavor and try to get at it before I can brush. I use it in combination with the mouth rinse and find that tartar is much less and if there is tartar there, it comes off much easier than with other brands. I would definitely recommend the use of this toothpaste to anyone with a dog.

I've been using CET toothpaste for my dogs for approximately 15 years. I brush their teeth every morning with this toothpaste using a finger brush. This toothpaste works really well. My oldest dogs has not had any teeth problems in 15 years. Both dogs do not have that offensive mouth odor that many dogs have. I am very happy with this toothpaste and I recommend it to everyone.

get used to brush my cats' teeth everyday with CET Toothpaste poultry favor. they love it and fine for it. i've tried the beef favor but they don't like it i think. the smell of this toothpaste (poultry) is acceptable. of coz, not smiliar to human one (peppermint for human one).

I bought the beef flavored one & the dogs seems to like it some. I also bought the vanilla/mint & they don't like that one at all. They seem to have the ingredients in them that I had researched online. I would think it's a better product than those in the store. Haven't had it long enough to know how well it actually works.

I have been using this on my girl's for years. I brush their teeth almost every day and this helps with plaque build up and keeps their breath fresh. It's not watery like other toothpaste and the girl's like the taste.

I have three small dogs (yorky, yorky/poo, mutt). At bedtime, these dogs line up to get their teeth brushed, so the stuff must taste good. I started brushing their teeth about a year ago. Their teeth are tarter free and the best part is their gums are now very healthy.

My cats have tried other paste and they love the CET seafood flavored paste the best. They will actually sit and let me brush their teeth and I was brushing 5 cat's teeth! One loved it so much he would try and lick the paste right off of the brush! The vet visits yield impressed techs and vets alike if you brush at least once a week. If the cat's teeth are bad, I don't know about reversing any damage, but it will keep it from getting worse.

I have used Poultry flavor for years with my cats and aside from not liking a brush in their mouth, they seem to like poultry flavor. I bought Vanilla Mint. My cats hear me open the closet where the toothpaste is and now run for their lives! They absolutely HATE this flavor. I will have to go back to poultry, but it is going to take a while before they stop running & hiding under the bed! Too bad, I'd rather smell Vanilla Mint breath than poultry! I gave it 2 stars only because they hate this flavor. The toothpaste itself I would give 4, but poultry flavor!!!

We use the vanilla-mint flavor as it leaves my dog's breath fresh. She loves the flavor, and will lick any excess off the brush. Good for cats too, but she doesn't let me do much (she is a cat after all!!!). Good price on this and CET chews.

Much easier to brush my toy poodle's teeth with the poultry flavored CET Toothpaste for Dogs and Cats (better known in my household as "chickie brush"). She doesn't run from me when I approach with the CET tube and the little finger-cot brusher. I brush her teeth twice a week and its a relief that it's not a chore.
