Never again
June 1, 2015
My cat hated this stuff. Evidently the taste is awful. The ingredients are the same as the more expensive brand, but the flavor must be too strong. She will take the more expensive brand without a problem. I love the price, but as you probably know, my cat is in charge. I will be switching back to the other brand. I wish the more expensive brand was offered in a 3 or 6 pack, so maybe it would be little more affordable.
I have 4 cats that need this supplement.

Never Again ! ! ! !

I was using Viralys gel for my cat. Decided to try Felisyl because the ingredients are the same and it's much cheaper. BIG MISTAKE!!! I had no problem getting her to swallow Viralys, but she spits out the Felisyl. It must taste awful. It is much darker in color and very runny. I then have to wash her and myself. The Viralys is more of a gel and easier to manage. I will definitely go back to Viralys. I wish Viralys would be sold at a more compatible price. I really can't tell that either lysine brand is really helping her with her sinus problems due to the herpes virus.

Better than chews
March 20, 2015
My cat rejected chews, even crumbled in her food. I tried them, they are bitter. The gel is sweet and she liked it okay. She would eat her food with it mixed in most of the time. But she was a little reluctant and looked questioningly at me. Powder, however, worked great for her. But I think the gel will work for most cats all the time.

WORKS FOR US
February 17, 2015
BOUGHT THIS FELISYL GEL RECENTLY SINCE THE PRICE WAS MUCH BETTER THAN THE LYSINE GEL WE HAD BEEN USING. WE HAVE A LOT OF CATS WHO REQUIRE LYSINE DAILY AND THE PRICE BREAK IS WELCOME. I GIVE THE GEL VIA SYRINGE,SO TASTE IS NOT AN ISSUE.IT SEEMS TO BE AS EFFECTIVE AS THE MORE EXPENSIVE ALTERNATIVE AND THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE FOR ME.

Use the L-lysine Gel to refill the "syringe". Hope it does the same excellent job the original L-lysine did.

better flavor please
January 22, 2015
I loved the dosage size but my cats do not like the flavor. 4 cats out of 4 say blaa! I haven't given up on them acquiring a taste for it but it is becoming a battle. It looks like I will have to mix it with food and that's no fun for me. Outside of that issue I would buy it again.
