Ru & LuLu were mature RESCUE Bengals 10 yrs ago when they came to their forever home with chronic UTI. For 5 yrs I spent a fortune (at least $100 per cat EACH infection for the exam, urine test & 10 days of anti-biotics!). AND 3-4 times a year for EACH cat. At year 2, I switched to Hill's Sci-Diet CD for this specific illness. Had fewer infections but still 2-3 per year each cat. Felt so bad for them knowing from personal experience how bad UTI hurts & makes you feel. Year 3, their vet suggested Cosequin cuz it had been found to "toughen" the bladder so infection could not take hold as easily. After several bottles & about 1.5 - 2 years, they were having fewer UTI's. LuLu 1-2 per year & Ru usually only 1 per year. Found EXACT brand of Cosequin on Entirely's site for less than HALF the price at the vet's office. Even told them the price I paid & that they should get them at Entirely so they wouldn't have to charge their customers so much for it. They were surprised at the difference in cost, they paid MORE from their supplier than I was paying at ENTIRELY PETS! The cats are approx 12 & 16 yrs old now. Besides fewer UTI's, they have NO joint stiffness & NO problem running & jumping as high as they did 10 years ago. They look great & are healthy. They LOVE it!! I just sprinkle & mix the contents of one capsule in EACH of their tiny bit (1.5 TEASPOON each) of wet food they get in the evening. They beg for it at 7pm each evening as if they are starving! Tastes like good chicken bouillion powder to me. When people ask their age they are dumb-founded to see VERY senior cats SO playful, agile & full of mischief! When I took my cat in for his yearly check up I mentioned that he was limping and asked if that could be a sign of Arthritis. After finding out his age (17) my vet told me that "100% of cats over the age of 15 have arthritis". I then asked for something to make him comfortable; since he's already on kidney meds this was given to him, due to it being a natural supplement. In less than a week he stopped limping and this product became a must. However, in my country (Canada) it's often hard to find and this is frequently out of stock and costs about 40.00 for ONE of these bottles... I am very pleased to have gotten it at such a great price. I do plan to re-order from this site when needed.

My arthritic cat has shown improvement after a month of taking Cosequin daily. He has stopped licking the arthritic joint bald and engages in play with another cat more often than he has for a while. Although the capsule contents aren't supposed to have any flavor, my cat rejected it when poured on top of the food. I now mix the capsule contents into a little wet food, then glop a little more wet food on top and he eats it all just fine.

I live in Canada and this product was recommended for my 19 year old cat by my vet, and works very well (my cat was essentially "grounded" but after about 6 weeks of taking cosequin was back to jumping up on my bed). First bottle of 80 capsules was 33 CAD at the vet. When the next one was 42 CAD I was inspired to search online. I was a bit leery about ordering from the U.S. for all the obvious reasons, and the 20 USD shipping charge to Canada was a fairly big disincentive, but I decided to order 4 x 80 capsules to minimize the shipping cost per bottle. The whole order came in at 75 CAD total and arrived in my mailbox in about two and a half weeks - no hassles. At less than half the price of the gouge at my vet, I am very pleased.

My 12 year old kitty Sybil, who is a little chunky, had started to limp and generally move more slowly than usual. So I started her on Cosequin. I started with two capsules a day but after two weeks went to one per day. Her limp is gone. She still moves slowly but that's not as concerning as the limp.

Our cat had a limp due to one of his hind leg joints popping. After he began taking Cosequin, all of his problems went away. He likes Cosequin so much, that he will even eat a capsule plain.

I was pleased to be able to order a sizeable quantity of this product and do not have to reorder every month and I was able to save money on my total order. The delivery service was good, too.

I started my cat on cosequin many years ago @ 2 caps per day and slowly increased her dose as her needs required. The only negative I have to say is that many times capsules would be completely empty. Bummer there. But overall a good product without side effects. Sadly @ 18 1/2yrs I had to let her go on 2 may 2013, really heartbreaking loss of my best friend.

My spayed female cat has idiopathic urinary cystitis, and after trying amitriptyline which made her dull, I switched to three Cosequin capsules a day, then settled at two a day. Cosequin works wonders for her bladder !! and she has not had a flare up in over a year. With the added benefit of joint health as well. Yes, I would definitely recommend checking with the vet then trying Cosequin for Cats for cats with cystitis.

This product is fantastic for all cats. We have a 14 year old male cat and when he was 4 years old he got a urinary blockage (common in male cats). After vet. care our doctor recommended Cosequin because she had read it helps not only their agility but in avoiding another blockage. We started him on 1 capsule daily with his breakfast and he hasn't had a problem since! He also has no joint problems and is in excellent health. We also give a capsule to our 9 year old cat and he thinks he's still a kitten!

My favorite cats are now enjoying feeling much better thanks to this great product. The 4-pack is a terrific value.

I have been giving this supplement to one of my cats with arthritis for years and I see he is more active and in less pain. Easiest medication ever to give to any cat. Open the capsule, sprinkle on his food and he EATS the medicine! Amazing! Over time, it has helped hime with his arthritis.
