My cat loves it. Once a day he gets pumpkin, wet food and cat lax. Its the first thing he eats. Definetly softens stool and cat is much happier.

I have review this product before. When it is priced reasonably, I usually buy 3 at a time. My cats like it almost better than Laxatone which is more expensive. I think they like the molasses flavor. Some folk dab it on the cats paw...I've done that....some will eat it right out of the tube....when there is a problem, I put if on my hand and the cats thinks he has to clean the area...........works every time.....your cats are better off if they are give it a couple times a week.....keeps everything 'just right'

My cat Smoke is a long-haired rescue cat and for a small cat has so much hair, very heavy. She would clean herself and the hairball situation was really bad. Cat Lax has passed the taste test from Foxy & Calico. I've tried other, more expensive, brands where I've had to chase them around the house to apply to the paw. Cat Lax is readily accepted as a weekly treat.

I have 4 cats and only one shows any interest in eating this stuff. Had tried another brand of this many, many years ago and had different cats. They didn't like it either. thought maybe it was the brand....Nope! Tried putting on paw and on nose w/ hopes they would lick it off and "acquire" a taste for it...as suggested on directions....Not gonna happen....Putting it on the paw only "acqiured" litter on the paw after cats going in the litter box! :( Know cats can be very picky..but was hoping with all the + reviews i'd have better luck!

In spite of the reviews by cat owners saying their cat loved the taste, both of my cats avoid this stuff. One cat manages to wipe it off his paw onto the upholstery. If I put it on their food, they eat around it. I'm sure it would work if I could manage to get it inside the cats but not much luck so far. I tasted it and didn't think it was so bad but then, I'm not a cat.

Use with both my cats to keep clear of hairballs and for my dogs to help keep the digestive system moving regularly.

I was skeptical about this but after our cats vomit ruined our bedroom carpeting I had to try something. He would vomit daily w no help from vet. Overnight this changed the poor cats and our lives. Give it a try! It's well worth the pittance it costs. We put it on their wet food in the morning and mix it in tho it seems they like it so no need to try to hide it.

Our street-rescued long haired cat started throwing up. Took him to the vet and he said it might be hairballs. Recommended Cat Lax and it did the trick! We never saw any hair, but it must have irritated him. Maybe once a month his tummy gets unset now. He licks the Cat Lax right off of our finger. We administer a maintenance dose of once every other day during the week.
