Review for CET Aquadent | C.E.T. AquaDent (16.9 fl.oz)
March 27, 2012
The only negative comment I have is: be sure to follow the dilution instructions on the bottle and remember to change the water bowl everyday. At the correct dilution, the pet will not notice the mint/strange-to-them flavor. Brushing is best, but this is a good alternative, especially if combined with other dental care activities/products by CET.

I love this stuff. It really makes doggy breath so much better. We've been using it for years.

Good Dental Care Product
February 1, 2012
My vet recommended I use AquaDent in addition to brushing teeth and the prices at Entirely Pets are the best I found. I mix a quart each morning and put in their water bowl. I have noticed less tartar buildup since I started using.

Product is very effective in helping to prevent plaque build -up on cat's teeth. It also keeps their breath fresh. I'm totally happy with it.

Dogs don't even know
December 30, 2011
Recommended by vet for dental care. Was afraid my dogs would smell it or taste it in water and not drink. They have no idea it is there, hopefully it really works!

Very satisfied customer

It was recommended that I use C.E.T. AquaDent in my dog's drinking water because of a severe tartar problem. The AquaDent definitely does the job, because a year after his last denter and the recommendation from the vet for use of this product, his teeth are still in very fine shape, which they would definitely not be without it.

Great for dog breath

Our Chia-pom is not a chewer, so her breath isn't the best. Our vet recommended adding this to the water & it has helped so much. It's an awesome product.

Excellent investment

I have used this product for several years to save on dental cleanings for my cats with TERRIFIC results. We went from once a year on each cat to over several years now. On our visits when the Vet checks their mouths, I always remind her we are on AquaDent, and she says "Great." The price is so much cheaper than buying from my Vet's office. I am very, very pleased, and it sure helps my budget!

This product helps maintain my dog's good dental health and so I don't have to have his teeth cleaned every year. And he can't tell there's anything in his water!

less tartar
November 2, 2011
They are not fond of drinking the treated water. I serve their dry food with a little water, make it like cereal, including the CET additive. They get some at each meal. I give the CET chews twice a week. No build-up of tartar occurs - for the most part - it makes a big difference. I brush their teeth as needed too, maybe once a month. It works for me.

You shipping is not the best for sure - my package went from California, to Nevada to INDIANA then back to Texas. Product and price is fine.

While I am sure brushing Molly's teeth would have been the best way to go, I think using Aqua Dent is very helpful in reducing the amout of buildup on her teeth. It's easy to use, she seems to have no objection to it and I have noticed her breath is fresher. When you are 14 years old (91 by our standards) you don't need any hassles.

Danger - Xylitol Toxic to Dogs
June 15, 2010
See ASPCA's Web Site for Top 10 Toxic Substances. They list Xylitol as toxic to dogs, yet it is an ingredient in this product. Another reviewer mentions this, yet somehow that review gave this product 5 stars??

Amazing Stuff
June 7, 2010
One of our larger dogs had such bad breath he practically knocked us off our feet. In addition, he had lots of plaque on his teeth. The vet would not do dental work on him because of his health and she suggested this product. It has been magical. His bad breath is completely gone and in addition, most of the plaque that yellowed his teeth has also disappeared, we can hardly believe those bright white teeth belong to our darling "Love."

Xylitol is toxic to dogs
February 5, 2009
It is now common knowledge that Xylitol is very toxic to dogs. It causes a dangerous drop in their blood sugar. It is incomprehensible that Virbac has Xylitol in this product. If it is in high enough concentration to disrupt the sugar metabolism of the periodontal microbs than I assure you it is bad for your dog. Why find out how big a dose is lethal?

It actually works
May 19, 2008
I've tried brushing, many water additives, chews, etc., with no luck when it came to my pups' breath. Nothing seemed to help. I tried the CET aquadent, and it has made a huge improvement in their breath and teeth. I still brush, but the tartar isn't building up so much now. The only negative is that the bottle is leaky.
