Strong Vanilla Scent
July 16, 2016
My dog isn't crazy about the vanilla flavor, it's very strong so I need to trick him into eating it. I don't find this version of Duralactin working for my dog. He did much better with the Duralactin plus soft chews. I think I'll go back to that.

tear in ACL
September 21, 2015
I was told that my dog has a slight tear in her ACL and my Dr recommended we try this drug to pull the blood supply away from the tear causing less pain. it works Great! she has not limped in almost a year. It is great for arthritis also. O happy that I tried this first instead of just going with surgery.

My dog did not like the vanilla flavored chews at all, so I changed to the Duralactin soft chews, liver flavor and now she loves them. Problem solved!

The best!!
April 14, 2015
This product has helped my 8 year old terrior mix girl who was limping on her rear leg and had trouble getting up and down. She was not running and playing outside like she used to. After a month on Duralactin, she is running around like crazy and playing like she used to with my other dogs. This product has helped her so much and without the worry of liver and kidney problems with long term use. And she loves the taste. Thanks so much!

Both my dogs are getting older and have arthritis, our vet recommended Duralactin to be given with glucosamine / chondroitin. Result: a lot fewer bad days

Dog LOVED the flavor
December 20, 2013
I gave these tablets to my dog 2x a day. He is at least 90lbs. so he got 1 1/2 doses 2x a day. He really loved the flavor and chewed them like they were treats. I only ordered a months supply to try them out. He seems to have arthritis and is very sore after playing/running/hunting. It is still hard to tell if they have helped or not. I need to order another round and keep it going to see if they truly work for him.

Brought back her spunk

Our dog has liver problems and can't handle Rimadyl. She's been on glucosamine for years but lately needed something more. We tried this and after about a month started noticing a real difference. She bounces around like her old self again. Great stuff!

Great addition for chronic pain management!
June 12, 2013
We utilize this product for our Mastiffs with known orthopaedic problems such as hip dysplasia or chronic ACL ruptures before and after surgery, anytime chronic inflammation is an issue. Although it's difficult to isolate the effects of solely this product, we use it in combination with other drugs and supplements and believe it plays an important role in our pain management program. Highly recommend its inclusion as an anti-inflammatory especially in combination with other supplements and prescribed drugs.

Keeps our 15-year-old sheltie walking 3 miles/day
April 30, 2013
My vet recommended Duralactin last year as an alternative to Rimadyl, has kept our 15-year-old sheltie right up with our 4-year-old shelties! Hope I'm still walking 3 miles a day when I'm as old as he is! (Would that be 105 or so?)

Works for my 12 year old Schipperke
January 2, 2013
My vet had recommended Duralactin for my 12 yr old Schipperke, due to her seemingly sore joints. She had trouble climbing stairs and walked with a limp upon waking up each day. The cost at the animal hospital pharmacy was $10 more than at this website, so I ordered it here. It seemed to work right away and my schip is back to playing, climbing stairs, jumping up on the sofa and running around the house. I am so happy for the improvement and believe that these tablets make a huge difference for my dog.

My chiropractic vet recommended this for my 15 yr old Shiba Inu with mobility problems. She is on some steroids periodically for allergies and I needed an anti inflammatory that she could take with 'roids. She is more active and her appetite has improved so I am convinced that she is more comfortable.

Duralactin
July 17, 2012
I have a Toy Poodle and, at my vet's advice, I began giving my pet Duralactin every day when he was 8 years old (he weighs 9 pounds). He is now 16-1/2 years old and runs around the yard and in and out of every room in our house. He rides in the car with us and sleeps with us at night. My vet says "he's awesome" because of how active and healthy he is at such a late age. He'll be 17 years old in October.

Product was recommended by a friend as an alternative to Deramax. Can't really rate the effectiveness since it is too early to determine. G ood thing is that it is palatable.

Positive results
February 16, 2012
Our 14 yr old Corgi is tolerating the lactate based medication, appears to have less stiffness, runs well, eats the tablets nicely. I was anxious to try a less toxic medication ,not the NSAID's suggested by some Vets and am happy a different Vet recommended your product.. I like the early action of Duralactin responding to inflammation. Will be monitoring her response after a month.

My lab had knee surgery years ago and I've used several products over the years. Within 3 weeks of using duralactin, I swear I see an improvement. Her movements seem more fluid and she doesn"t hestitate at the stairs. I hope she continues to improve. Thanks for a great product. She loves the taste too!

Very Pleased
November 7, 2011
My 13 year old dog has arthritis and a stomach condition that prevents taking traditional veterinary medications for arthritis. My vet started her on this and she is doing very well on it. She is walking better than she has in months. Am very pleased by this product.

Appears to be excellent product
October 30, 2011
Two of our dogs are seniors (13 and 11 years). Both have severe hip dysplasia. Our vet suggested that we try duralactin to help reduce joint inflammation. Although both dogs have only been taking the tablets for about a week, both appear to be more comfortable and have better range of movement. I've been told it will take about 14 days before any real improvement would be visible, but I'm encouraged by what I've seen so far. I'm placing another order to continue to medication. It's great that it's non-prescription and inexpensive in comparison to something like rimadyl.

Works better than most
January 7, 2010
My little chihuahua has a back injury. It occasionally flares up and during acute attacks he is on steroids. I have tried most things out there. Duralactin is not well publicized, but for us it works better than any of the others (Glucosamine, chondroitin, Cetyl M, HA, aspirin) with no side effects such as upse tummy. Plus he munches the vanilla flavored tablet right down with no trickery needed. Within a week of starting it, I noticed he had much greater control over his legs on the slick floors (unfortunately our floors are polished concrete) and he'll begin to bounce around and play rough. He was recently ill for a few days, and I quit giving him the Duralactin. He became wobbly on the floors, occasionally seemed to lose his legs and fall, and generally seemed stiffer and unhappy. Now he's back on again, for good. I give this as an antiinflammatory in conjunction with Hyaflex for a little joint insurance.
