Review for Pala-Tech Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry Granules (300 grams)
May 24, 2018
Our dog was almost 2 yr old when he had Calcium Oxalate stones in his urinary tract and bladder. After surgery his Vet recommended these granules on his food; he seems to love it and has been stone free now for over 2 years!

I've been using this supplement for my pooch for about 5 years now. Henry my Bichon never drank or drinks enough water daily. He wound up getting bladder stone and really screwed up his ability to take a whiz. Started adding this by Vet recommendation and within a few months his system was clear. Have kept him on it with about half daily dose since. I mix it with water and the meal part of his chow and it makes a great gravy. Manufacture confirms it is OK to mix with water. Henry hasn't had the problem since. One time I got a canister where the inner bag was ripped. I called the manufacture and they replaced it immediately no questions asked. So kudos to them. And like a good consumer I always check prices as I usually buy 3-4 canisters at a time. Generally a years supply. Entirely Pets always comes up with the best price. As they do on almost all my guys supplies. And the service is always unmatched. Doesn't happen much but the one or two times where there was a problem with an order customer service always fixes it quickly. They are a standout 4 star vendor.

Great product

A couple of years ago we almost lost Tinker due to a huge stone in her bladder. Our vet removed it and immediately started her on this Pala tech product. She has been doing fine since and her urinary problems seem to be under control. The fact is that this stuff works. If there is an existing large stone already present this product may not work but you will need to see your vet. Once it is cleared then this will help keep your pet flowing.

Product seems to be helping
February 9, 2017
My Vet recommended Pala-Tech Potassium Citrate Plus for Max's bladder condition, he has crystals that cause a lot of irritation and discomfort. We have changed his diet as well at added Papa-Tech about 2 months ago, He seems to be doing so much better. He doesn't have a problem having the Pala Tech added to his meal and the results have been very positive.

I monitor my Bulldog, as he had bladder surgery last year to remove stones. I use this as a supplement to his food to help prevent them for occurring again. He likes it and...no issues thus far.

New & Improved formula not improved
January 13, 2015
My cat has been taking this & loving it for 2 years. The recent purchase had "New & Improved Formula" on a sticker on the lid. I opened it and it smelled terrible (date was ok) and my cat wouldn't touch it. Someone needs to tell Pala-Tech to go back to its original formula and don't try to improve on something that works just fine. Entirely Pets will accept the return of the 4 unopened canisters; however, I had to pay shipping of over $18 to return the items. Will not buy this brand again.

Great for preventing Bladder Stones in my dog
September 13, 2014
Teddy is now 15, a Llasapoodle rescue at age 81/2. He came to me with a history of bladder stones including surgery to remove them. Needless to say my vet and I were immediately into prevention. She suggested this product and happily Teddy has never had any bladder stone issues since being rescued.

Helped immensely with dog oxalate bladder stones
April 17, 2014
Our male 20 lbs mini schnauzer required an operation to remove bladder stones in July 2013. We changed his diet to a balanced homemade wet dog food low in oxalates (you can find a list of appropriate foods online) and supplemented with potassium citrate cranberry granules (a heaping spoonful per day using the included scoop.) He loves the granules mixed with his food. After several urine tests (every six week) and confirmed with a recent X-ray, he has not had any recurring stones in over 9 months! He still has high urine density since he drink little water. However, even with his urine density condition, no crystals are ever seen. We recently started adding a half a cup of water to his meals (we had to work up to 1/2 a cup as he can be finicky) and hope for further improvements with his urine density. I recommend this product highly if your dog has experienced bladder stones or as a preventative measure, especially for schnauzers and other dogs prone to bladder stones.

Cost efficient, palatable, effective product !
March 13, 2013
Price of Potassium Citrate plus Cranberry is almost half that of same product purchased at vet. My dog loves it added to her food daily and has Not had recurring bladder stones that previously plagued her. Prior to using this additive, she had three surgeries for removal of stones. Certainly money saving, not traumatic to my dog, and she eats it without coaxing. We are Happy.!

Our vet recommended this product for one of our dogs several years ago. Entirely Pets is one of the only places I can find Pala-Tech for a good price. Entirely Pets also delivers very quickly. I've been ordering through them for several years and have been completely satisfied.

Pala Tech Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry Granule
August 5, 2012
Toby has had 2 surgeries for bladder stones, started using this product after the last surgery in 2009, coming up on the 3rd anniversary of surgery. The product has worked as Toby had surgery in 2007 & 2009. Hopefully, this is the end of the surgeries. Very expensive!!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT!
June 22, 2012
Our Bichon has a liver shunt and is prone to developing ammonium urate bladder stones. He had his first surgery to remove stones at age 1y4m. We were told he could easily have recurrence within 6 months. Along with a low purine diet, we started using the Pala-Tech Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry granules religiously per our vet's recommended dosage. Our little guy did need a second surgery, but not until age 4y1m. With a liver shunt, we know we can't prevent his stones altogether, but everyone involved applauded the three year span in between! We also tried the tablets, but our guy didn't care for those as much. We mix the granules with a small amount of peanut butter (his peanut butter candy!!) and he just loves it that way!

I highly recommend this product because it has saved me hundreds of dollars in Vet bills for my small mix-breed Ginger ... and it came highly recommended from my Vet. Several years ago I had to take Ginger into the Vet when I noticed blood in her urine. The Vet admitted her to the hospital, and treated Ginger for kidney stones that literary saved her life. When the Vet presented me with a $850 Vet bill, she also recommended Pala-Tech Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry to help prevent further stones. Ginger is now 9 years old, just came back from the Vet's office on Thursday with another "clean bill of health." Thank-you Pala-Tech for a great product!

Helped my older dogs
May 31, 2011
I began using this for my 12 year old dog who has some kidney issues. However, to my surprise when I started using it for my 8 year old dog, his urinary leakage stopped within a week. I love it. Both are healthy and in better shape now.
