My Dog loves these, I have to give them outside because they are very fishy smell. it is worth it because my dog loves them

Bought these as a replacement for the ones I normally buy my dog. They aren't super crunchy but they'll do.

I like the fact my dog really likes them and I consider them healthy.

The cod skins we're supposed to come with fish treats and they were not in the bag with the delivery. What a bunch of false advertising.

I needed a new source for fish skins and thought I would try this Simply Wild because there was a bonus Lil Bitz that seemed just the size for my miniature dachshund, too. The fish skins are firm and fresh and went over well with the dogs, but there was no "bonus" Lil Bitz with them. Not a big deal I suppose, but still disappointing. Anyway, the product is decent, but the advertising and description is misleading.

My 2 labs like them, so I like them. They get a couple of these a week and they never fail to finish off a cod skin.

My dogs really enjoy these and I feel good that they are natural and made in the US. I do recommend them. The only drawback is that of course they smell very fishy and they are very hard and crunchy. One of my dogs (9 years old) recently had several bad teeth extracted so I worry they are a bit too hard for his teeth.

My dogs love these! I have a Westie on a special diet and these are allowed and she loves them! My new little terrier mix also loves these & she's only 10 lbs. They are the only crunchy treat either dog will eat. They should be good for their teeth too. I've given pieces to my friend's dogs, my mother's dog, & my neighbor's dog- they all went nuts for them!

Oh, the dogs go NUTS for these! I have to count my fingers to be sure they didn't remove any when they grabbed the treat! they're a little bit expensive so will be more of an occasional treat, but my buddies are worth it!

I have two Beagles and they love these cod skin treats. They are a good serving size for medium to large dogs; I would break them in half for a smaller dog. They are crunchy, which my dogs like, but not too hard. The smell is somewhat strong, because it is dried fish after all, but it doesn't seem to linger on their breath very long or at all elsewhere. My dogs love the Polka Dog brand cod skins too, but they are a little longer (have to break them in half for my dogs, and are a bit more expensive. Also Polka Dog is Atlantic Cod and Simply Wild is Pacific Cod...if that matters at all.

My dog goes crazy for these but they smell.so.bad. Which, I get - it's fish! But if you have a strong aversion to a fishy-smell, be warned. Don't give them to your dog while you're eating (that was a mistake!). And keep them in a cupboard. They do make a mess on the floor (unless your dog eats up all the crumbs - mine doesn't.) I'll continue to buy them since they are natural and my dog loves them!

I made an order from Entirely Pets (the Amazon Marketplace vendor offering this item), and they included a free sample of this product in the order. I knew that my dogs loved salmon treats--you can read my product review for theto find out just how much--but fish SKIN? I was skeptical... but then, I was skeptical of the salmon treats, too. Much to my surprise (again!), my two 4-legged boys LOVED the cod skins!The texture feels like it was freeze dried... VERY dry, lightweight, and flakey/crumbly. I tried to break a treat into two pieces, and it dang near disintegrated on me. Yet it was tough to pull apart once the outer layers had crumbled, so it has a kind of jerkey-ish texture to it also. Rather interesting. My boys didn't have any trouble devouring it, though.There's no denying that these cod skins are incredibly expensive at almost $20 for a modest 6.6oz package (shipping included, though), and that's a major hurdle to overcome, but check out the Guaranteed Analysis: Crude Protein (min): 82% Crude fat (min): 2% Crude fiber (min): 0% Moisture (max): 10%82% protein and only 2% fat?!? My God, it's a miracle food (except for the lack of fiber)! Now check out the list of ingredients: 100% Alaskan Cod Fish! (Only one ingredient)It also claims to be a good source of Omega-3's. Sure, why not... most fish products are.So yeah, they're expensive, but I don't believe I've ever seen a dog treat with a resume like that before. I'm definitely ordering a bag. It's not going to be a regular thing for me, but every once-in-a-while when I can afford to splurge on the pups, this will be on their menu.
