I breed & sell Maine Coon cats & currently live with 5 queens, 2 studs, and 18 kittens of varying ages. I have always been REPULSED by the smell of cat urine, so I have been on a mission to find the BEST product to remove the smell. Amd I have tried countless products.My husband's ball cap was urinated upon & I tried my then-favorite product, Clorox Pet Urine Remover. I saturated the ball cap THREE times & allowed it to dry. The odor remained & was AWFUL. I was convinced that I would have to throw away the cap. Then I came across this product, Urine Off, at a store & decided to try it. Just ONE TIME, and the ball cap smelled GREAT! My hubby gave it a thumbs up, but I did give it a 2nd spray just to be sure no faint odor remained. I was truly amazed & will be buying this by the gallon. I don't always know when my oldest stud has sprayed or a kitten has urinated outside the litter box. It doesn't happen often, but now I am very prepared! I keep a gallon of this product in a (garden) sprayer to treat indoor oriental rugs, sofas, pillows, clothes, etc. A big pump-up sprayer is so much easier to use than the handheld squeeze sprayer & covers much more area & quickly.Using a sprayer inside your home sounds hilarious, I know, but if you hate the smell of cat urine like I do, yet ADORE your cats, GIVE URINE OFF A TRY! And try it in a garden sprayer. Check at night with a black light to find & spray any glowing areas. Really saturate them. By morning, the smell & stain will be gone!Another benefit of this spray is the fragrance. It is very pleasant and not overpowering. Love it, love it, love it & I'm getting a subscription!! I truly don't understand why this product does not have a 5-star review from everyone who has tried it. Perhaps they didn't shake the container. Definitely shake the bottle (or sprayer) before you use it (or pump it up)!

I continue to get it because at it mostly does what it needs to, there some times that the actual remnants don't get out but the smell basically does. If that makes sense. My cat will still urinate in the specific area that we continue to wash this with so that why I think it doesn't completely get it out. Its good enough that I'll continue to use it as needed.

It is really easy to use and get rid of the smell easily

Quincy is an awesome cat. He's friendly to everyone. He craves human attention. He sleeps on our laps, plays with the kids, and is always up for amusing us by chasing a laser pointer.You wouldn't know it by looking at him, but Quincy has a dark side that we don't talk about at parties. You see, during the day when nobody is around, he visits the stuffed animals in my son's room and engages in unspeakable acts. Apparently, Quincy is quite the fan of water sports. Maybe the stuffed animals are into it too. I haven't asked.What I do know is that a little bit of this stuff made it so my 7 year old's bed no longer smells like a cat box. And I call that a win.As for Quincy? Well, maybe some therapy. Maybe some kitty Prozac. Or maybe we'll just buy more of this stuff. Who knows?

I found this product years ago and it works.

I feed stray cats so my porch gets stinky-once a week I change straw and sweep and spray Urine off and my porch smells great again.

Been using this for over ten years, after my vet recommended it. It's pricey--but it works! Don't waste your money on any other, similar products. Urine Off doesn't stop a cat from marking (because there are several reasons for them to make), but it does clean up the smell so that the cat doesn't mark in that spot again.

I have tried EVERY enzyme product out there for cat urine, this one wins hands down. I have a cat that had kidney stones and has issues, so I literally have tried dozens of products and stopped when I found this one. It doesn't have that odor like other popular ones on the market, it's pretty odorless and it DOES THE JOB. I cannot smell anything after it does the job.

We have four cats and one in particular that, despite medication, is a real problem with his marking. We buy this product by the gallon and have it in a gallon sprayer for easy use. Great product!

Finally, after 2 years and many, many home remedies, the smell is GONE!!! I wish I had done this instead of fooling around with the vinegar concoctions!!

Lifelong catperson. Multicat household. UDo not use any other cleaner before applying.Key for results. Have a neutered male kitty who does the deed for territorial protests on occasion. This stuff kills odor in carpet, solid wood, wallpaper. Even recently a fan!Saturate and cover. Works better than anything I ever tried. Premium price but I put it in amber spray bottle and its worth every penny. I do not find it necessary for cat pan odors. Use another product. Just use for marking. My sister told me about it. Itâ€â"¢s a winner. Passes my husbandâ€â"¢s sniff test. Also has low odor of its own. No coverup perfume smells.

My kitty peed in an area 1'x6'. I was SOOOOO upset. The place stunk. This place is carpet with a thick cushy pad over concrete. After soaking up as much as I could I used a dilute solution of vinegar and water briefly. I got out my carpet cleaner machine and did the area which apparently is a big No No but I didn't know any better and found out it just drives the urine deep into the carpet, padding and underlying concrete. Ugh....still stunk and I assumed I would need get a new carpet.I bought a gallon of Urine Off, used the whole dang thing and completely drenched the area, then covered with foil for 24 hours. While drying it still smelled really bad and assumed carpet was a total loss. Once completely dry OMG, no odor.I just bought another gallon to keep on hand and I also bought a black light to check the area. The treated area did not glow except one small spot which only slightly glowed and I will need retreat. With black light I also found a couple more accidents in another room that I had been totally unaware of. Very very happy and relieved.

I've tried NUMEROUS product to remove cat urine after one of my cats decided to express her unhappiness to the change in our routine on my favorite expensive area rug. This has worked to get the stench out. It took two-three gallon sized treatments though. I have not put the rug back down yet to see if my cat will mark it again. That will be the next test. It eliminates the smell for me, but does it get it out enough for my cat to leave the rug alone. I will update the review once I have put the rug back down.

This actually works!! After one of my cats started peeing outside of the litter box, I tried a lot of products but nothing took away the odor like this one! I used it on carpet and my couch and after two applications, I stuck my nose inches away from the area, and I donâ€â"¢t smell pee!

It really does remove cat urine odour

I have an older cat who periodically has accidents. It's great on the carpet but also on tile. Have not tried it on hardwoods, not sure I would use it there.

I had the terrible issue of my pet cat going potty on a friend's matching sofa chair. During a move, when we were technically homeless (well not really but it makes a good story), my former friennd volunteered to house us while our other home closed escrow. My darling Jade peed the night we were permanently taking her on the plane. I tried everything to get the scent out and I was still living there temporarily. I tried the normal remedies (vinegar, Dawn, etc.). I took the pillows to a dry cleaner. Finally, I soaked in this solution and washed (cold water), and soaked, and washed the pillows over and over as a test. Then I took them to a dry cleaner and they washed them and they did not smell of urine (the dry cleaner solution did not help). So I had the oversize matching chair disassembled, took the fabric thru the same process of soaking, rinsing, soaking, rinsing and finally cleaning at the cleaner. The chair was reassembled with new foam, and the fabric looked good and the god awful smell of my cute little Jade was gone. I did try some other products but they left a scent. This did work. I did try the CSI light as well but that did not seem to help but did find other stains (not related) on the carpets, etc. Don't give up. Just keep washing and use cold water. Hot water may set the scent. Order it quickly and get to work soaking. And because of this, we are still friends!

First of Allie certain our cat, kitty babe is not such a babe. Sheâ€â"¢s nothing close. The little seven pound demon gets mad and urinates and poops on my bathroom floor. Stained concrete. If youâ€â"¢ve smell cat pee then you know itâ€â"¢s utterly disgusting. The first time this happened out house was brand new and she peed in the corner by the back door of the house. I tried everything to remove the smell. I even removed the smooth finish from the concrete, not just the sealant but down to the actual rock in the concrete because I used so many chemicals. Let me tell you THIS STUFF IS MAGIC! Pour on spot. Cover with plastic wrap. Let it sit for no less than 24 hours. Wipe up and do over again. There will be no urine smell ever again! Iâ€â"¢ve used so many products and nothing works as well as this one. The little demon checks out fine at the vet too so we know sheâ€â"¢s doing it because sheâ€â"¢s mad. Not today satan not today. Buy the urine out. Youâ€â"¢ll thank me later.

This product has a light pleasant scent and is easy to apply with a spray bottle. I believe it performs asadvertised.

I really hate how expensive this is, but, if your wondering if it is worth it, it is. And I'm a harsh critic, I assure you. It not only treats the area, but it eats away those microbes that cats amazing noses can still pick up on so they don't got back to the spot again. It seems to deter them as well, but that could just be that they're no longer interested as well. Either way, it does an amazing job.

I have tried well over 20 products to try and get rid of cat urine smell and discoloration. Some products helped to reduce the smell, others would just mask it. Discoloration was easiest to remove. However, the smell remained and I was at a loss.Then, my dad recommended Urine Off. Honestly, I was skeptical. I've tried so many other products that had awesome reviews and were guaranteed to work, but they didn't for me. We removed the damaged carpet in our house and the concrete was stained from urine. (I was appalled and extremely embarrassed! I had no idea the damage was this bad.) I followed the instructions - directly poured product onto concrete, scrubbed, let sit overnight. (I didn't have large enough plastic to cover it, so I used a camping tarp and it worked great!) I treated the concrete on 3 consecutive nights ( didn't scrub the last night). The stains actually disappeared along with the odor!! We have put down new flooring and my cats have stopped urinating outside the litter box!I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking to replace flooring in a pet household. I can't guarantee results for anyone else, but this is my honest review and this is the ONLY product that had worked 100% for my needs. I do wish this product was cheaper, but with the results I got, I would not hesitate to purchase it again.** EXTRA INFO ** I have 5 cats. I never had an issue with them urinating outside of the litter box, until my elderly dog started to have incontinence issues. My dog peed on the carpet once and the cat's followed suit. I tried all kinds of other cleaners, air fresheners, used a Rug Doctor more times than I can count, and even had the carpet professionally cleaned. Nothing completely got rid of the odor. With the odor still present, the cats continued to pee on the carpet. I had no idea the urine had soaked so deep and had actually crystallized in the concrete. If you are having similar issues, you HAVE to treat the concrete to resolve the issue. We replaced our carpet with LVP flooring (waterproof planks). We chose this option because it is much easier to see pet messes on the floor and address them before the smell sets in. Because it is waterproof, it also helps to protect the concrete from additional damage. However, since treating the concrete and replacing the flooring, the cats have stopped voiding outside the litter box. We did also move 1 litter box to a new location on the other end of our house, to provide more litter box locations, which may have helped as well.

Best price I have found for this quantity. My cats tend to live close to or beyond their 20''s and some accidents happen as they age. I soak up what I can with pressure on a cloth towel and then paper towel, then saturate the area with Urine Off. Works every time. It has never caused fading on any material, be it carpet, furniture or clothing. I have used it on hardwood and vinyl flooring, just wipe up the urine and a light spray from a spray bottle takes care of it. There are a lot of feral cats in my neighborhood that mark their territory around my patio, it gets rid of that smell too. I have recommended this to several people and they have all been pleased.

After going through several bottles of Rocco and Roxie, I desperately tried this, and lo and behold - IT WORKED! Holy cow, I'm going to keep a stash of this! I have a neurotic rescue cat who chooses not to use the litter box some times and we have cleaned and enzymed and steam cleaned about 10 times and there was still a funky scent. To be honest the R&R smells so bad that we weren't sure what evil combination of smells we were smelling...anyway - this stuff, the UrineOff, was immediately effective - as in, you could tell as soon as you put it down that it was working and it smells great!! It smells clean and fresh, and there is NO odor of cat pee left. I wouldn't have believed it after spending almost 100$ on repeated bottles of the R&R failing and stinking so badly. I will say that like the R&R, you may have to do repeated rounds.Here is the best way I've found to use any of these enzyme cleaners. After soaking up any urine with papertowels (if it's fresh), soak, and I mean SOAK the area with the UrineOff. I poured it directly on large areas for the first round, but changed to the stream setting on a sprayer for the next 3 rounds. Directions say NOT to scrub, but I did pat down the carpet once it was soaked to make sure it soaked all the way in. At first I mass treated a broad area to get any urine that had spread out from the original spot. I used a water mister to keep the area wet since the enzymes work as long as it's moist and stop when it dries up. I'd do one or two treatments to the carpet per day (working remote now helps). For the third and fourth rounds, I literally got down and stuck my nose a half inch from the carpet and did the ol smell test to locate any last hard hit spots. I have a UV light to help ID new spots, but once you start enzyme treatments, urine won't show up with UV because it's down deeper in the carpet, so get yer nose in it (well, close to it, not IN it..)! So the last 2 rounds (3&4) were spot treatment only for the corner of the living room that she chose and that I did 2 'broader' applications of the treatment on initially. Let it sit for at least 2 hours or until dry. DO NOT STEAM CLEAN YET if the smell is not all gone or you will just disperse the urine (and the smell) and you will have to go back and do it again but over a larger area! This product does really work well, but you have to commit to the process or you are just wasting money and time. It may take several rounds, in fact, unless you have a tiny kitten that just squirted a little, it probably will take several rounds in whatever area the urine is in. With the R&R - the smell of the enzyme cleaner was so bad it was giving us all headaches and stomachaches. The smell of urine was almost better..... but UrineOff not only works better, it smells about 100000 times better and no headaches or stomach aches. When you're finally done with however many rounds needed - THEN steam clean it. Steam cleaning, even with the resolve pet odor remover product, will only spread around the urine stink if you didn't get it all - I cannot emphasize that enough. With the R&R, I intensely steam cleaned afterwards - in my mind, it had to be working after doing 50 passes with the steamer and then the additional Resolve pet cleaner..... I was wrong. You won't even know it till a day or so later when you're sitting around and the scent hits you like a slightly citrus scented pee train. Blech. Learn from my mistakes! You're welcome! Urine Off works. Roll up your sleeves and get to it. You CAN get rid of cat urine, but you're going to probably have to work for it a bit. Once you're ok with that, you've got it. ;)

This works great for one that keeps marking in certain areas. It doesnâ€â"¢t stop him from marking but it helps prevent the others from peeing there.It also smells more soapy and isnâ€â"¢t as gross as some of the other enzymatic cleaners I have used.

Works great! I was shocked at how well it worked. Cat urine odor was overpowering in a house I recently purchased. Carpet and pad were actually wet with urine and the house had been empty for 8 months. Two applications of this product did the trick. I used it full strength on each stain and saturated the area. The true test came when I brought my own cat to the home. He walked over the area where the stains had been and never reacted or stopped to sniff. Seriously, this stuff is great!

I first found this product through my vet. It is the ONLY product that completely eliminates cat urine smell. I used it with an old sick cat who couldnâ€â"¢t control his bladder any longer.

Used this product to try and remove old urine smell from our hall carpet which is a nylon wool mix on a hessian backing. I junked the underlay and sprayed the floor and the carpet on both sides sandwiched everything with polythene and left overnight. I then used a carpet cleaning machine to extract everything and let it dry. I then repeated the process and used the machine again with carpet shampoo. I can still smell the urine in the carpet so am disappointed in this product. I guess it might work on fresh stains but it fails on old stains. Would not recommend this product.

This product really works. My cat kept peeing and pooping on my bed for a while during a stressful time and I couldnâ€â"¢t find a product that would fully get the smell out of the down comforter until I found this. Itâ€â"¢s definitely worth the money, although I wish it could be more affordable for me, but it works. I recommend soaking the stain for a few hours before throwing in the wash. I put my comforters in a trash bag and poured the solution all over it and left it all day then I put in the washing machine. And if you still smell it then repeat before you put in the dryer or the stain and smell wonâ€â"¢t go away.

I adopted a farm cat that doesn't know how to use a litter box door. Before I was aware of this he peed on my brand new mattress. This product completely got rid of the smell. I would definitely purchase it again.

I have bought this product before and it didn't have such a floral perfumed scent. It's HORRIBLE. I wish I could find the regular one I originally purchased. The smell is so overpowering I recommend leaving the house and leaving open windows and doors. Yikes, I will update after it dries to see if the smell dissipates.
