I have 2 senior dogs on this product and am really happy with the results. they have been on it for going on 3 years now and I feel it has really lead to some great improvements.

My 12 year old dog was diagnosed with enlarged heart last year. She was perscriped pimobendan and furosemide to keep her from going into heart failure. I was looking for a supplement to give her as well and found this one. I believe this supplement and her medication are keeping her symptoms at bay. She has been doing great. I highly recommend.

Excellent supplement. Capsules are big. We break the capsules open and sprinkle over our dogs homemade food. Ours are 20, 12 and 5 lbs so we give a full capsule and split one between the ‘littles’. If you are doing a homemade diet for your dogs, these provide a great Taurine source.

I just received this product which I bought for my cat. The pills are huge! They are human size or large dog size pills. A cat would never take these! I opened up one capsule to see if I could sprinkle it on my cat's food, but it tastes terrible! No cat would ever eat this medicine! I wish I knew the size of the pills before I wasted my money on this product. Now I can't even return it because I opened it. Not happy.

My Cornell Veterinary School trained veterinarian recommended this product when my 8 year old dog was diagnosed with a skipped heartbeat. He has no financial relationship with the company that makes it. On the one year follow up with the cardiologist, "Foster's" heart was fine. ( He was also given a small dose of a heart medication for this year also.) So I think this is a good product for any dog with heart issues.

I have been buying this product for at least 5 years for my cat. recently you stopped selling the 30 day cat supply and are offering only the 90 day cat/dog version. I do not know if the formulation has changed or what but since we switched to the new packaging our cat has gotten very finiky about eating it mixed with his wet cat food. This was never a problem in the past, he could not wait for his special treat, and like I said I am talking 5 years. So did you change the formulation or is my cats pallet changing?

My cat was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and enlarged heart so severe that vet felt euthanasia was only option. Nothing was working after a week in hospital. While he was in hospital I ordered this product together with dandelion extract and we decided not to euthanize and try him on these. 14 months later he is still going strong, in fact stronger. Subsequent check ups have indicated his heart muscles actually look like they are repairing themselves. Our vet has been very impressed. Couple of times over the last year I would notice him getting a little 'congested' and would give him an extra half pill. Other than that he is 13 and like a kitten?? And eats like a horse since being on these. It's large so i actually open capsule and form 3 little balls of the stuff and then put in his mouth with a bit of water from a syringe one at a time. Much easier! Also, apaprently better given in evening.

I lost a Doberman to congestive heart failure at age 7. To help her live a better life till the end, she was on vet meds including Cardio Care. We have an older dog with heart problems and our vet referred your product to us as a supplement to the usual heart medications. Being a small (10 pound) dog he suggested half the capsule in the morning and the other half at night spread over his food. The first bottle we received the capsules separated with no problem and the contents was a lighter color plus the two halves were easy to separate. The second bottle we ordered the capsule contents was a darker color and the two capsule halves were not as easy to separate. In addition the contents of the two halves clumped and stuck to the ends of the capsule halves. The only way to get it out is to either squeeze the capsule or find a thin knife and pick it out as a clump. Both bottles had a moisture absorbing pack in them. The first bottle had no batch number on it but a 0214B next to the quality seal The second bottle number is 22743200 0417, next to the quality seal was 0314A With all the medication he is taking it is hard to tell if your product is helping but we can say he is still with us and doing as well as can be expected. I did a lot of research and ended up trying this supplement. It's been 5 years since and she hasn't had a single spell. I am convinced that the supplement is helping. It is all natural, which is also the reason I give this to her daily - and she'll be on it for the rest of her life.

I have been giving this supplement to my senior dogs for years. Vetri-Science assigns a expiration date that exceeds the time the product's color, texture, and brittleness of the capsule deteriorates and if Entirely Pets ships a bottle to you that is near its expiration date then your dog might not be getting the full benefit of the supplement.

The capsule is so large - much too large for a cat - that it needs to be opened and the content poured over food - I do not know how much of the content of the pill the cat actually ingests, as there is always some food left over. I cannot assess the potency of this medication. However, as my cat has heart failure, after a few months I will have another US taken and see whether her heart muscle function has improved. It would be helpful to have a smaller size capsule or pill for cats.

I have been using this product for a year and for the first time I got it from this company fresh and able to pour out of the capsule into the food. Other places I have bought it I have had to take a toothpick and dig it out which is time consuming and impractical.

We guzzle these vitamins courses: once every six months is mandatory. Dyspnea passed (more than a year was a constant companion). Vitamins and coarse in size, so small breeds of dogs and cats is better to use other forms. My Siberian cat. These vitamins swallow normally after ingestion gave him drink water.

My Caalier King Charles Spaniel has a heart murmur and this supplement has worked really well for his problem.

My GSD experienced medication failure/heartworm resistance and became heartworm positive. We opted for rapid kill therapy by using Doxycline and Immitecide injections. I felt she could benefit from from this supplement and plan to use it always because heartworm damages the epithelium of the heart.

Is almost 16 and I have used this for the past 7 years. Her grandma passed from heartfailure. I truely believe an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure.

I wanted to put my aging dog on a heart support supplement with l-carnitine in it, because she is exercise intolerant and coughing a lot. Holly has a strong heart murmur rated @4. I could hear her labored breathing even though she was on blood pressure meds and milk thistle until I started using cardio strength. My vet was worried about the protein content in this product being hard on her kidneys but so far blood test have been good. She will be checked again this year.

Having found a positive treatment for my dog's heart murmer - Cardio-S capsules containing all the necessary amino acids etc. for strengthening heart muscle, it suddenly became "unavailable" in the UK. I've used this product off and on for years. My dog was diagnosed with a Grade V heart murmur and after using this product for six months, her murmur was only classified as a Grade II/III. I'm not sure if the supplement reduced her murmur, but it sure seems it had something to do with it. I love Vetri-Science products!!

I started our dog, Pepper, on this medication about a year and a half ago and it seems to have delayed worsening symptoms of cardio/vascular disease. She's a black lab mix and has panting problems at night, some drueling and drinks more water than she use to. She just turned 13 and I'm not sure she would have made it without this medication. Hopefully she'll still be with us a year from now. I highly recommend this product.

One of my chihuahuas developed a heart murmur rather suddenly 2 months ago. He went in for a bad bout of diarrhea and the vet was surprised to hear a rather severe grade 3-4 murmur with a whistle...dog had just been to the vet the month before for his shots and had no murmur then! X-rays revealed slightly enlarged heart and the murmur was strong. So I started him on 1/2 a capsule of this daily. It stinks, but he eats it fine. 2 months later, his murmur, though still present, is much improved, and the "whistle" is gone. I'm keeping him on this, as these are safe heart-healthy supps and nothing dangerous.
